Who’s Entitled?

  • The following employees will receive an enhanced allocation
    of 15% over and above their initial allocation:

    – Employees employed by the Group for more than 5 years
    as of the Scheme commencement date.
    – Pharmacists registered with the South African
    Pharmacy Council; and
    – South African employees in the employee levels D, E and F.

    Any enhanced allocation is limited to 30%
    per individual employee.

  • Example 1:
    An employee (as described above)
    employed for more than 5 years from the commencement
    date would receive an enhanced allocation of 15%,
    irrespective of race or citizenship.

    Example 2:
    A pharmacist (Black or White) with less than 5 year’s experience
    would qualify for an enhanced allocation of 15%

    Example 3:
    A pharmacist (Black or White) with more than 5 year’s service
    would qualify for an enhanced allocation of 30%.

    Example 4:
    A senior Black manager within Hay Bands D, E or F,
    employed for less than 5 years from the commencement date,
    would qualify for an enhanced allocation of 15%.

    Example 5:
    A senior Black manager at Hay Bands D, E or F
    with more than 5 year’s service would qualify for an
    enhanced allocation of 30%.
